It's Christ in us as we yield to His Spirit. We can bring healing as we ask God to forgive us and then go to the other person and ask for forgiveness. Unfortunately, some people choose to reject our forgiveness just as some reject God's forgiveness. It's their choice. But we must move on. If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse us. To be bound by someone else's self pity is emotional blackmail.
