No, tell me truth, though it stings and smarts and hurts. But remind me when a truth has brought me low, that other truths will bring me joy, and that it is up to me to find them.

Wow. Amen to that, ECD. Thank you!

I think, in addition to healthy living, good mental health requires a daily dose of good news, positive thoughts and words to live by, as well as a turning down and tuning OUT of 'some' of the negative news/hype surrounding other people's misery. Though I do believe in the power of intercessory prayer and reaching out wherever it's possible, more often than not, viewers are not able to help the situation and it winds up becoming depressing, when people aren't balancing that with those other joyful truths.

Foxhole prayer is no less a prayer.
By the dying.
Jesus Lord save me from myself.
I know not what I do.
Its my addiction
I can't
Save me.
Save me from myself
I have no control.
They don't understand
But you do.
Save me Lord
Save me.
